About me:

Driven to uncover opportunities and deliver innovative, sustainable solutions through design, I am a meticulous and creative individual with a "let’s make this better" approach. I view challenges as opportunities and approach them through a cohesive lens; incorporating both the whole picture and the fine details.

Most recently, I have been working in the contract furniture industry as a Sustainability Officer in Toronto Canada, where I implemented programs and projects targeted to the circular economy and closed loop manufacturing. The success of these programs has been recognized through various awards such as Canada’s Greenest Employer for three consecutive years of running the department.

I achieved a Master of Sustainable Design from the University of South Australia in Adelaide, Australia in 2011 where I combined my formal education in design (Bachelor of Design - Industrial Design from OCAD University, Toronto, Canada in 2008) and my desire to employ design as a conduit for sustainable change.

My specialties include strategic sustainability, product development, design, design software and biomimicry. I am an avid traveler, camper and adventure lover especially when it involves immersion into natural environments and requires the use of well-designed gear.

In August 2017, I relocated back to Adelaide, South Australia and am looking forward to once again, contributing to sustainable advancement whilst enjoying delicious long blacks and lamingtons.
