Barista Coffee Dosing Tool

Baristas know that each coffee brand requires a specific dose of grinds to create the perfect cup. Hired by a coffee roasting company, I designed a coffee dosing tool to help baristas measure out the perfect amount of grounds.

Features:

  • Identical curvature on the top and bottom of the tool for efficiency and ease of use.

  • A ‘thumb indent’ is featured on the top right of each face of the tool, allowing the tool to be held instinctively and without instruction. 

  • Laser embossing for  brand identification. 

  • Locally sourced reclaimed wood from discarded wine barrels ensures a unique patina and wine colour on each tool.
